Biggarsberg Cycle Challenge
The annual Biggarsberg Cycle Challenge includes 2 distances, 3 mountains and/or passes and numerous historic sites.
The route travels through the towns of Dundee, Glencoe and skims past the edge of Wasbank village. Indumeni and Mpati mountains and the climb out of Glencoe town offer a unique challenge to cyclists.
Ride through magnificent scenery in our country rich in history and legend.
The inaugural race of this event took place on 16 June 2024. Each year the race route will be reversed to challenge riders
with different mountains passes and descents.

Dundee Golf Club
Dundee Golf Club, in the heart of the Battlefields, KwaZulu Natal is only one of two 18 hole golf courses in Northern KZN. Dundee Bowling Club
There is a very active bowling club with well established and maintained greens. Games are played each week and a number of tournaments are hosted throughout the year.
Talana walking trail
This trail should take you about two hours to walk. Please do not take “short cuts” – this causes erosion. The paths are clearly marked. The trail begins at the Diorama in the Cemetery at the museum. Please pay your entrance fee for the museum at reception and collect your self guided brochure for the trail before starting up the hill.
Please orientate yourself there; note the route and alternative sections.
As you follow in the footsteps of the British soldiers as they advanced up Talana hill there are 10 markers with historic information about what happened at that particular spot. Follow the route to the plateau and the memorial to the Dublin Fusiliers. You may wish to return from this point, if you do not wish to scramble up the last section to the top of the hill.
